What you need:
A color printer chock full o' ink
Some printer paper
Some cardboard (Note: I tried this with card stock, and it's not thick enough. You need cardboard of poster board thickness)
Craft glue
Glue stick (You can use craft glue, but it tends to make the cardboard warp. I'd stick with glue stick. [No pun intended])
A tongue depressor-you know, those popsicle sticks the doctor sticks in your mouth. These can be bought at any craft store or the craft section of Wal-mart.
Poster paint & paint brush (optional)
Clear nail polish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Print out the fan/s you want.
2. Glue the whole sheet of paper down on the cardboard.
3. Let the glue dry between several heavy books for a while.
4. When the glue is dry, cut around the circle of the fan.
5. Paint a tongue depressor in a color that matches the fan. This can be done while the fan is drying, or not at all if you wish. It just looks nicer if you do it.
6. When paint is dry, glue stick on the back of the fan using craft glue.
7. Repeat step 3.
8. Optional: cover the top of the fan with clear nail polish or something to make it glossy.
9. If you did step 8, then let dry again.
That's it! Now go flaunt your fan to the world.
